Bygone Days Poem by Sabina Yasmin

Bygone Days

Memories of my bygone days,
Never did I know pass when,
Still lingering on my mind,
I remember them every now and then.

Memories of my bygone days,
Searching peebles on the river side,
Wondering why the water shines,
Wandering in the lonely woods with a pet of mine.

Memories of my bygone days,
Running after those beautiful butterflies,
Watching mesmerizing flying of the birds,
Touching high into the skies.

Memories of my bygone days,
Touching dew drops over the leaves,
Beautiful flowers all around,
Holding hands of my parents,
Roaming all around my childhood town.

Memories of my bygone days,
Still I can feel the breeze of the wind,
Tears rolled down my cheeks,
Return back my pretty ways,
Bring back my lost days.
