I fell for the cloven hoof
His sight undressed my soul and left it naked
He slept with me above the moonlit meadows
The sullen moon blessed our romance

A very well written poem. I have read most of your poems and feel like each one is engulfed in magic or a beautiful sadness. This one is my favorite, the dark lover that is irresistible. He stains your body and taints your mind. How can an earthly lover ever compare. Thanks for sharing
