Cacaphonic Catalyst Poem by Marla Byeuttif

Cacaphonic Catalyst

Rating: 4.5

Cacaphonic catalyst of my heart,
Drag me screaming right back to the start,
Like a phoetal injection, a cyclical correction,
My dead emotions rise like a resurrection,
Scratch my wounds away with varnished nails,
Purify the noise in my head, the terrifying, tarnished wails,
You have opened my eyes to the sunset reality,
I would always hide away until the light allowed me to see,
I now see that a sky without rain,
Prevents new life and only bring pain,
You're the sweeping squall below the stars,
Reminding me how wonderful the weather changes are,
I'm no longer afraid to behold the night,
The moonrise enraptures me like the lucidity of your eyes,
You wear your integrity like the sky wears the darkness,
As thruthfully and plain to see as your beauty is enchantment.
