Cadaver Saluting Poem by Leon Moon

Cadaver Saluting

aurora salutes back.

when the moment comes
we are never ready
only prepared.

as if a fierce face in death
alters the course of breath.

microcosms.
the route as take off:

stars shed til darkness is over fed
and sleeping on its back like a trumpet.
