[california Militants Exercise Caution In A Nearby Home]

Rating: 5.0

California militants exercise caution in a nearby home,
brooding societys' collapse in matters of hours.

The music carresses, burns to ember, retracts
those few listening under the crushing horse
destruction of the laughter, backmasking
of clapping hand from the room over,
and the next.

they awake you in burlap, call the accountant,
order the cash transfer exchanged in gold
and brass tombs.
you don't know this.
but you assume knowing;
if you were ever to see your daughter in heaven.

and also the ones you thought were unhappy;
may know why you look crippled, caging over
the posession you had that lasted, but ended
like your old man.
only sooner.

the super heroes you built in your head,
developed into tumor.
A belated un-question of panic, time, miracles,
cerial numbers, out dated cousins and in-laws;
that removed you, but somewhere still think
you're beautiful.

sweet music you want to caress, so one day
your ashes will fly. your daughter'll be
joining hands.
your father sleeping soundly.
