Californian Boy Poem by Kirsty Roux

Californian Boy

He never noticed when I put on eyeliner or smiled and him or when I got all dressed up.Maybe it was because I wasn't her.

He cared whether I made out with anyone and my rice purity score.

I noticed his favourite sweater and how he said my name with such a cute accent.I knew all his friends by name. The ones he would call me with to hang up a minute later.

Teenage love right?
7 months, I knew it would work but I just hoped maybe in another lifetime? I thought he was different but these

American Californian girls are so pretty I would also date them. They are cool and close to him but wasn't I at all special?
