Call Me Once Poem by Abhinav Ghildyal

Call Me Once

In the silent folds of night I wait,
Where shadows whisper your name's fate.
A single call, a breath, a sign,
To know your heart still beats with mine.

Oh, beloved, just once, call me near,
Let your voice chase away my fear.
In the stillness, my soul does yearn,
For your sweet voice, for your return.

The moonlight drapes my weary face,
As I linger in this empty space.
Your name, a song within my mind,
A plea that you are gentle and kind.

Each moment stretched, a tender pain,
Like summer sun and winter rain.

Call me once, let time suspend,
Let broken hearts find ways to mend.
I love you more than words can show,
More than rivers that ceaseless flow.

No distance vast, no silent sea,
Can hush the truth that lives in me.
Till you call, till you reply,
My heart will reach beyond the sky.

No distance vast, no silent sea,
Can hush the truth that lives in me.
Till you call, till you reply,
My heart will reach beyond the sky.

So here I stand, beneath the stars,
Counting memories, nursing scars.
With open arms, with bated breath,
I wait for you beyond this death.

Call me once, and you will see,
How deep my love will always be.
The pain, the wait, they're just the price,
For one sweet sound, your whispered 'nice.'

In this quiet, hear my plea—
Beloved, call, come back to me.
