Call Your Mom Poem by Georgia Watson

Call Your Mom

Call your mom:

Knowing you're scared, that you've been there before. Sinking under, but pulled up quickly to the shore. Drown out screams, call your mom, before she thinks you're dead.

A long road ahead, a body in the forest. You're battered and bruised, but I know a cure for it.

I don't wanna bury you, and neither does she. We don't wanna bury you, under a blanket of hateful memories.

Call your mom, one last time, call your mom, even if it's your last night.
