Called Devil, No Qualms Poem by *Tony Cemaluk Egbuonu

Called Devil, No Qualms

Called devil, no qualms.
Re-paint devil white.
After all, 'Come let us make man in our own image' — was to whom?
Repent ye. Know ye.

Devil could be God's lone brother.
Could have continued to be.
The host of heaven watched.
if not for Armageddon —
sequel to naughtiness, hubris, covetousness, treachery, insolence, frowardness,
red eye, huge eye,
wanting to be treated as and above Big Brother God.
