paradise below heaven's dirt
as kindred souls ajoins one another
let it grow
let it grow

where the wind blows
from the shallow to the deep end
the ocean calms the mind into serenity
let it sing
let it sing

the coming of harmony
as the 'once-upon-a-time' utopia
brings these fire down to a dim glow
and yet
the flame within ourselves
grows yet to be stronger
as our bonds strengthen beyond knowing
as time itself takes into binding
until itself becomes that series of chronicles
just like pictures of you asleep
