Calm Yourself Poem by Dina Raven

Close your eyes
It will soon be over
Wipe your tears
It's not worthy crying
i know it's hard
But it will be harder
I know you care
But you can't make them to.
You want to be heard
And maybe you will.
No one takes you seriously
Because you don't yourself.
You have to take a responsibility
And show them what you can do.
They can't force you
They can't oppress you.
So don't shed your tears for the world
I know this is silly
But they can't let you down
Because this is as low as you can get.
As I said
Close your eyes
Now count to ten
Breathe in softly
And start again.
