Camp Fire Tribe Poem by Carmelina Sottile

Camp Fire Tribe

CAMP FIRE TRIBE

I light a candle
I watch the flame
I hear the Keeper
Calling my name
I am a soldier
Coming home from war
With battle scars
From things I saw
It's time for healing
It's time to rest
I now surrender
I'm doing my best
Caring and sharing
The truth unfolds
No room for fear
I'm alive and I'm bold
I put down my weapons
I live tranquilly
With the camp fire tribe
That's been destined for me!
