Campaigns Of Hitler, Churchill, Kissinger - Poem by Saiom Shriver
Waged Hitler, Churchill, Kissinger
with what aplomb
massacres of people and animals
through missiles, tanks and bombs.
Poet's Notes about The Poem
Churchill directed his butler (not himself)
to take a ladybug out of his mansion,
that Kissinger, according to the Kalbs,
declined to hunt boar with Brezhnev saying
he did not like to kill animals, and that
Hitler was a vegetarian because of animals
and opposed research on animals.
All of these men killed millions of people
and trillions of animals. Is it that
their right and left brains never communicated?
