I love my inner self,

I love my personality,

I love me!

But there are so many things out there that can make you change,

Money; People; beliefs,

I want all of those things also but I want me,

I wonder how it feels to wake up one day and think back

to how you once were,

There is nothing wrong with change,

There is something wrong with losing your essence,

I want to be a better person,

I have my flaws, lots of them,

But I have very good things about me also that if I improve on it

will over shadow all of my flaws,

God make me a better father,

Make me a better son and brother,

Make me a better friend,

I honestly don't want or strive to be like anyone else,

Please don't pattern me after anyone,

You made me one of a kind, that I can see,

But I've always feared this question,

Can I Lose ME?
