When I look at you, I can’t breathe
because I know we’re over and done
When you smile that smile, I can’t leave
so I’m standing here, waiting for the sun
while the rain is falling down on me

When you touch me sweet, I can’t speak
brings back too many memories of u and me
back when you loved me, effortlessly
so I’m sitting here, falling from the sky
when not so long ago, I felt I could fly

When you look me in the eye, I can’t see
although I know exactly what you feel
I wonder where we went wrong
remembering what I felt back then
and what I feel right now, it’s so strong

When it’s just you and me, I feel like I belong
no need to run away from love for once
I suppose I’ll never understand
all I know is, I love at your command
I wonder what you’d do if you saw
everything in my head that I planned

now I have to be strong and let you go
but not before you know, what you should really know
The memories may fade as time goes by
but my love for you, it’ll always show
and when I try to hide it, it just makes me love you more
