(can'T Be) Right Poem by Rich Downes

(can'T Be) Right

Rating: 2.7

Even if you don't seem to know why you shall blind
And this love seems to be a crime
And tomorrow seems to show why I'd cried
For there's nothing left when all I'll do is try
And s-s-s-sigh

Still can't be right in never
For there's nothing in forever
Still not so right in never in vow

A memory shows why you leave me to cry
Note if all I do is try to say so
Won't be free of the way I crawl in town
No chance of curing this lonesome sound, every sound, every sound

Let's spend the night together
Now I need you more than ever
Let's spend the night together, now

So
The time isn't off at maybe
The way forward is at maybe
And nothing is maybe

Still can't be right in never
For there's nothing in forever
Still not so right in never in vow

Even if I'm lost without a word to say
To finally omit these prices to pay
And without room to proceed
It's hard to find who to even be and try-try-try-try-try

Still can't be right in never
For there's nothing in forever
Still can't be right in never
For there's nothing in forever
Still can't be right in never
For there's nothing in forever

Still can't be right in never
Only a heart left ever stung
But you bring out the sun
Yet even now I cannot shove
Limit!
Still look above
Woo!

Still can't be right in never
For there's nothing in forever
Still can't be right in never in vow
