Can'T Have Me - Poem by Christian Rivera

You said it's over
You said we were through
So why are you here?
Trying to get me to come back to you

I begged you long enough
You could have made your choice then
But your stubborn mind didn't let up
And now I'm happy alone my friend

So please go away
Don't come back again
I don't need to see your face
I'm happy on my own my friend

And if you think that this is just a phase
I'll say yes after a day or two
Your mind is really out of place
I know I'll never come on back to you

Please don't make me speak my mind
I'm holding back my words because I still have a heart
But if you're not gone by the time I open my eyes
The words I speak with sure tear you apart

So one, two, three
And she's gone
Finally
I'm not a fool to fall for that one
