Can You - Poem by Jackie Kirby

Can you hear
me cry at night
While your holding
her tight

She's your new love
an i'm your old
The pain you'll never
know

Wonder if someday
you'll come back
and want to stay

When you grow tired
of your new love
Like so many time's
before

I dont know where
you'll go
I just want to let
you know

Don't come back
to me for
I won't be here
anymore

Find someone else
to hurt and put
through hell

Can you hear me
cry at night while
your holding
her tight

She's your new love
i'm your old
The pain you'll never
know

Yet some day i hope
an pray you'll fall in
love the way that
i loved you

And she'll walk out
on you Then you'll
know the pain

You put me threw
Can you hear me
cry at night
