Can You See?
Can you see it?
Can you see the pain
that hide behind these eyes?
Can you see the innocence
they contain?
Can you see how you
don' know what they feel?
Can you see how they
hold back tears
and force a smile?
Can you see how they say
'It's alright' when it's not?
Can you see they are searching
for someone or something
to heal them?
Can you see that these eyes
are mine?
