Cancer
Darkness suddenly descends
On your path
Friends lift you
Strangers hold out their hands
Others cower in the darkness
And let you pass
The path narrows and rises
The map is uncertain
Intersections are many
Guides are few
You question the pace
Harden for the next turn
Seeking light on the path
Finding it through God
