Canterbury Cats Poem by Mark R Slaughter

Canterbury Cats

Canterbury Cats have lengthy tails,
And love to dine on garden snails
Before they visit their bed -
Perchance to sleep
Without a peep
Upon their favourite head:

They've three! you see

Now Canterbury Cats are ever so shy -
A girl or boy can make them cry
Before they scurry away -
A place to hide,
Regain their pride -
But then they're back to play!
