Capturing Sweet Sensations Poem by G.B. Smith

Capturing Sweet Sensations

Rating: 5.0

You came to me
on rhyming wings of white
so sure were we of
gentle touches pure
in passion's palms
we entertained delight
on tepid shores embraced
by love's allure
Neath satin moon
and shadowed sea's spoor
in braille excitement
gentle dreams touched souls
you kissed me there
upon that sandy shore
then lifted me to fly
the night sky's shoals
As midnight's fiery stars
enraptured flight
we rolled about in
heaven's sweet refrain
as naked and entwined
we drank the light
to capture sweet sensations
in love's hot ballet
You tightly held my soul's
immortal dream
as off we sailed upon
a bright moonbeam
