Dangerous Love Poem by G.B. Smith

Dangerous Love

Rating: 5.0

I hear your voice
in my dreams
and long for your kiss

I never thought
that missing you
could be so lonely.

Just the whisper
of your name
gives me chills.

I remember the
sounds of your cries
of rapture
and my heart aches

Why did we part?
Why did it end?

Was it so wrong
to love you
when we knew
it was forbidden?

Seeing you again
would be wonderful
but it would tear
our hearts apart.

Let's just remember
the sweetness
of our love

Memories will have to suffice
We can't go back
Why did I love you?
Why can't I forget?
My life is empty

Forgive me
my love
Sigh...
