I met a beauty yesterday.
She smiled at me and walked away.
That's what I saw, in any case,
The others didn't see her face.
I would've chased her if I could,
But I was paralized for good.
The foreign guys did help me out.
I heard not what they yelled about.
Some time went by, it almost flew.
And it was noon before I knew.
My memory is dear to me,
Remebers her and keeps me free.
I prayed my god to banish hell,
My mother she has taught me well.
But then at night my dirty head
Would think of love and care instead.
They look at me, their look ascends,
Those people that my mom called 'friends'.
They look concerned; 'I waste their day',
And then they slowly walk away.
Things aren't what they seem to be,
That was my mother's word to me.
Those men could use that good advice,
Their mind deceives their very eyes.
But I don't mind they walked away,
I couldn't care if they would stay.
From now on life will be just fine,
My loved one's hand is holding mine.
