Carry It Out Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Carry It Out

Shake it well, nurturing-
Blooming beauty of all seasons
A voiceless voice here
And voiceless voice there
A few garlands of woeful hearts
Grudgingly-cheerful to put
In the neck of New-Year
Globe's feeling like Christmas
What an emotional story-
Looking for a role
Role of pride and value
Causing, challenges all over
Every now and then!

From national circles
To international lanes
Genocide, carnage and mayhem
Colouring the earth in reds
Bringing home-
Armies of innocent dead
A rocking scene of last year's!

Just for name and fame
Terror and terrorism all over
Despite criticism
Striking a chord of conflict
All smiles and laughs lost
Somewhere, in hue and cry
Without any root cause
Or the right tunes.

Taking a clear stand, up next
Let's hope and wish for
Love, peace and calm
Hard, may it be to expect
As yet, the world's to find out
Right statesmen to carry it out.
