Carving Clouds Poem by Richard DaSilva

Carving Clouds

Rating: 5.0

Where can I go if all I have lies within you
My hopes and dreams and hidden in your heart
If all the world turns against me
I'll hide in your embrace and shut my eyes
I can't describe how you've turned me inside out
Seems like there aren't words to reveal your fingerprint in my life
But without words to show what this is
All I'm left with what is buried into where no eyes can go
I grope after you every second
And I'll carve this grope for you in the clouds...

Overall I did like this poem but be sure to avoid cliches in your work because it makes it seem less sophisticated than it really is. Cheers!
