Casanova Blues - Poem by Dilantha Gunawardana

For the holy grail of love
Is my Achilles heel
For the temple of romance
Is my unquenchable thirst
For I am an archetype
Of a self-confessed romantic
Who routinely trips down
Chutes of infatuation
Bedazzled by the guise of love

For love truly is
Both my cape
As well as my kryptonite
