Caterpillar Day Poem by RJ Rice

Caterpillar Day

Crawling and creeping and inching along
humming a dewop caterpillar song
dancing and squirming untill needs of rest
then stopping and weaving a caterpillar nest
sewing a cozy blanket of string
caterpillars are sure a curious thing after some time of rest comes a yawn
from a beautiful butterfly up up and gone
