Cathedrals Poem by Pierre Rausch

Cathedrals

Indifferent, absent, she left the cathedral
Had captured their attention
Isn't that a good deal
It's also a useful break

Anyone could have a love affair
Works of art in France
Relaxing, comfortable, particular
They have other things to do

At once light funny and somber
They made a point of ignoring
So spare yourself the heartache
Without any sense of relief

Anyone could have a love affair
Works of art in France
Relaxing, comfortable, particular
They have other things to do

Let's go somewhere private
Changing into something provocative
Being happy consists in not thinking
The fulfillment of lust

Anyone could have a love affair
Works of art in France
Relaxing, comfortable, particular
They have other things to do

At once light funny and somber

Let's go somewhere private
Changing into something provocative
Being happy consists in not thinking
The fulfillment of lust
