Celestial Long Summer Days - Poem by john o'connell

Celestial long summer days
bring us back to the joys of hide-and-seek,
tickling green grasses and blue infinite skies -

the innocent things of childhood ways
played close to the ground
while travelling incredible imaginary distances
to attend a momentary symphony
of pastoral vision and sound.
