Celestrial Poem by Robert Stoddard

Celestrial

If she chooses to dropp from there,
will I be strong and catch her here?
Stupid, that’s stupid, it’s dumb and all.
Why, Why does she have to fall?

If you’re that pearl Ill see in white,
you’d always, always, seek the light.
You’d never dropp to be with me,
you’d wait for me to climb to thee.

When I’m broadside, preparing to pass,
reach out your arm to feel my dash.
If I’m going where you wish to be,
grab my hand and climb with me.
