Chance Encounter Poem by Rod Morris

Chance Encounter

You can spend a lifetime searching
For the person that is self,
I'm so happy that I met me
While I still retained my health.
When I look into the mirror
I'm faced with crinkly laughter lines,
Bought about by my family,
Friends and boundless happy times.
It would be great if everyone
Could step out upon these trails,
For they will find peace of mind
Unbridled laughter seldom fails.

excellent thoughts on life. Meeting ourselves face to face is so important. Then we would stop searching.

It's only a chance encounter to come across oneself We laugh over the world everyday but seldom on ourselves If we learn to laugh at self we shall never laugh on others.
