Chance Happenings Poem by Robert R. Railey

Chance Happenings

Chance Happenings

The softness of her voice spoke kindly to me and
Our random meeting seemed more than mere fate
For in fact, it was more of a fortuitous event
There, was the ancient feeling of trust
Of having known someone for years
There, was the search of distrust in the eyes
Only to find a complete lack of fear
There, where only the heart can feel
There, where only love can live
There, where only the truth can survive
And this they'll vow until the day they die
