Chances Poem by Rodney Peterman

Chances

Chances come, and chances go.
Tomorrow there might be, the chance of snow.
But what if we had, the chance to see?
A very close friend, a friend like me.
And we did not take, that chance to see.
That very close friend, a friend to eternity.
And that chance would not come, ever come again.
Because something happened, to that very close friend.
And you could not see, that friend again, until the everlasting end.
So take the chance, while you can.
And have no regrets, at the end.
