Charlie Chaplin Talks The Walk Poem by Sanjeev Nanda

Charlie Chaplin Talks The Walk

Charlie Chaplin has an iconic walk; his bow-legged buffoonery puts the smile on many

His innocent smile, his miscreant laughter in silence,

His way of conduct - composed, yet zany

But behind that outward façade he keeps

Is a man seeded in knowledge deep;

He knows to bend oneself, and make them smile

Charlie Chaplin is a gem in the rough

His persona - flimsy, yet tough!

Child or adult, know his name

They love Charlie Chaplin all the same
