When shadows creep and dim the day,
And heavy thoughts get in the way,
Don't let them stay, don't let them hold,
A brighter story can unfold.

Fill up your mind with what is true,
The honest words that see you through.
With simple kindness, warm and deep,
The seeds of happiness to keep.

Remember love, a gentle light,
That makes the darkest moments bright.
And God's own word, a faithful guide,
He's always with you, by your side.

He promised this, a truth so clear,
'I'm always near, I'm always here.'
So let these thoughts, like sunbeams play,
And chase the darkness far away.
