Chastity Poem by Chhote Lal Khatri

Chastity

Chastity
Bees buzz round buds
Flowers, fragrant leaves
Bloated wombs with larva.
Do they feel shy or ashamed?
Black beetles kiss black berry
In the recess of the forest
Return the kisses in honey.
Do they have guilt bile?
Butterflies hover round
The flowers, caress their soft silky body
Like lesbian lovers.
Do they repent for the Nature's call?
Fountains dive from the mountain
To meet their love; rivulets rush
To the river in a race for ocean.
Are they coy about their covet?
On the bed of bees flowers
Lose nothing; mother honey
Throw away your chastity belt
And put on the black belt.
Embrace the sun rays and breeze
With open arms like virgin earth.
Who has questioned earth's virginity?
Her chastity, her fertility?
