Chat Poem by Dan Brown

Chat

Entering an invisible world;
A chatroom.
A place where identity becomes redundant.
You can be anyone you want to be.
Hopes and dreams are neglected,
and personalities are shattered,
in this transparent school playground.
It subtly merges with your life,
and slowly sucks the soul from within you.
It is a leech.
It is a dark, dark closet which hides
the deepest secrets of so many.
It is an addiction.
It is a danger.
