Chemical Romance Poem by Jana Rininger

Chemical Romance

I'd like to taste your chemical swirl,
Not your average tale of boy meets girl.
Cause you're blasting loud my rock and roll
That certain kind just sings to my soul.

You're toxic and spiked collars,
Rebellion pushing me farther and farther.
Take me down deep to your hidden lair,
Suffocate in hairspray and spiked up hair.

I was never a sucker for right and wrong,
Not when I'm after you, forever long.
My iced out blood runs cold and deep
Sharing nightmares when we sleep.

Don't ever listen to one word they say
Two tramps like us weren't programmed to obey.
Clasped a secret between two broken hands
Refusing to answer life's eternal demands.
