Child's Confession

I confess how much I love my mom in full spirit
And I bet u know why each mother deserve a merit
My mother’s love is beyond compare
Though at times she’s mad but she’s always there
From scraped and dirty knees
To falls and bruises from trees
A mother cares for all
A mother answers every child’s call
From “baby I told you so”
To “Hey that’s a big No-No! ”
A mother knows how to cook, wash and some work a job
Even with all their strength, a mother still knows how to sob
Mothers should be honored for all they have done
Every cradle day of the year, not just one
Nothing is better than a mother’s love
For her time on this earth thank God above
No matter how much I have grown
Her love is a shadow always shown
She has become my teacher and a mentor
With her I am able to find an educator
No better payment for her I can find
Than to love her with heart, and with mind
To the thoughtful one who bore me; I share my dearest emotion
To the responsible one who raised me; my absolute devotion
To this great woman I express an applause of my joy
You will always be my “mommy” and I’m still your “ little baby”.
