Childhood Poem by The Other Me Ptshah

Childhood

Among giggles and brawls
And scaling garden walls
My childhood was spent through sunshine and fall

Through pinky finger friendships
Marbles and seashell treasures
My childhood was spent with dreams hopes and innocent pleasures

School bags on our back our journey weary and slow
Arms around friends and our pride we throw
Oh childhood where have you vanished
Taking the gleam from my eyes and the smile full of glow
