I still recall the pleasant, old memories,
The days I used to be the leader,
The years we were sunny, blessed kids,
The times before each of us went their own way,
What we were, can I never now name, nor explain
For a new unity like ours, did I much long,
For long times did I try to understand, how things changed,
Miraculously has my suffering soon ended,
And I don't regret it, not a single feeling, nor thought, nor action,
For I appreciate what it of me has made,
A strong, unyielding soul, caring about true friends
