Childhood Recollections Poem by ashok jadhav

Childhood Recollections

I wander back through gardens overgrown,
Where laughter clung to every crooked tree;
The world was wide, yet somehow felt like home,
And every stone held secret company.
Sunlight poured in golden, careless streams,
We ran through days with hearts unmarked by fear;
The air was thick with unimagined dreams,
And whispered truths only the young could hear.
I taste again the sweetness of that rain,
The cool of earth beneath my bare, small feet;
The songs we made, the echoes of our pain,
All mingle now in memory's soft retreat.
Though years have passed, those moments still remain,
A gentle hearth against life's storm and strain.
