Childhood's Perception Poem by Daniel Norton Smith (addendum)

Childhood's Perception

We used to play in Gregory's house.
Downstairs was a room full of mirrors -
it was amazing.

Now, I realise, Gregory was the caretaker's son.
And the room was an empty discoteque.

Gordian knots hang now where a glitterball should be.
