Children Of God Poem by PADMINI DUTTA SHARMA

Children Of God

Children must play, children must fly
It's not for them to toil and cry,
We must ensure they do not starve
We must assure they take the upward curve.

These innocent creatures are like delightful flowers,
They spread their fragrance & sing for our ears,
No one has the right to clip their wings
No one must be allowed to shout or scream.

Every child has the right to thrive,
Children have a potential drive,
We cannot fetter them like live stocks
And make them run errands like auto robots.

Stand up to their cause with a loving heart,
Fail them not because in u they trust,
Shed all dogmas and embrace them tight,
Inspire them with conviction that they can fight.
