Children Will Always Be Children Poem by Okoemu Okoemu Okoemu

Children Will Always Be Children

It was those days,
when she won't copy
her note in class
so she could always meet him
to lend her his note
an opportunity to be with him
she loved every second with him
she wanted to sing for him a hymn.

He would fooled himself
just to amused her
and make her love him
out of many, she always excited him
In his craft, he was fond of drawing
her on every pages of paper
Dreaming of her night and day.

And she would run after him
After the closing bell at two
Just to tell him to read
Only the eight chapters of
the songs of Solomon.

If he didn't get the signal
With that, he would get it
And then, make the move
A move that would make a tangle
Only that, this four letters,
Most often never survive through
the end of the sixth gate.

-Okoemu Okoemu Okoemu, Fra Diavolo
