Chocolates Poem by Sunshine Poet

Chocolates

Rating: 4.0

I can't resist those chocolates
Beautifully wrapped in a box, tower or tin
I can't resist those Hershey kisses or the peanut M&M's

Food of the Gods
Sweet smells of caramels

I can't resist those chocolates
layered side by side
the glossy assortment
the high calories
the extra inches on my thighs

I'm in a dilema which chocolate to choose
the rich, crunchy, gooey or soft
white chocolate, semi-sweet, milk chocolate or dark
Guilty Pleasures
a piece of heaven

I can't resist those chocolates
so I bite a piece with my teeth
and place inside my mouth
slowly the flavors begin to melt, melt, melt

I can't resist those chocolates
made with such care
so in desperation of gaining to much weight
I'll share

Snickers and Smiles
