Choices Poem by Elliott Simatupang

Choices

What good are eyes that do not see
The beauty inside you and me?
What good are eyes if all they saw
Made them lust for even more?
'Tis not our fault that we can look
'Tis not our fault they mused
For though men’s eyes were made to look
Their hearts were made - to choose
