Christmas Quilts Poem by Marilyn Lott

Christmas Quilts

Rating: 2.5

Christmas quilts are all different
So beautiful for us to see
We snuggle within their folds
And handle them tenderly

Can you think of any better gift
For someone at Christmas time?
It's a treasure for us to enjoy
As we lie way back and recline

As we listen to holiday music
We can cuddle up to keep warm
In something specially made
Designed for the winter's storm

Quilts are made to pass along
To those younger than ourselves
They are often kept in the family
Either displayed or up on a shelf

So if you are so lucky
As to get a quilt as a present
Cherish it and pass it on
Because love is what it presents!
