Church Robbers Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Church Robbers

Rating: 5.0

Do you think The Lord’s deaf and blind?
Or think perhaps He’s dead?
Is He not King of all mankind?
To whom all knees must bend

Why can’t you see the lies you tell
Your plagued with gross deceit
You’re on road to darkest hell
At Satan’s last defeat

Cease your walking the devil’s way
The future’s all too plain
Your filthy worm will not decay
Once Jesus comes again

Repentance then will be too late
Grace will have locked the door
Hell’s flames alone for you await
With all the fools before

From Heaven’s eyes no sin can hide
Running will be in vain
For you who plunder Jesus’ bride
Will feel eternal pain

Why do you cheat why do you steal?
Each day that dawns anew
Knowing The Father God is real
And Heaven’s wrath is true

Repent! Take score right here and now
Turn from your rotten ways
Before The living Jesus bow
Within these latter days

Give back the silver gold and jewel
Join she adorned in white
By faith obey God’s every rule
And walk within The Light……
